Winter Sports Company are pleased to announce we’re bringing the ski gear to the beach and launching ski tours in Cornwall. Après ski in Aspen and Snowmass Village is treated as more than just something to do after a day of skiing and riding — it’s considered a lifestyle.
Cross-country skiing is the perfect way to see west cornwall – take in the beautiful landscape whilst you glide across golden sands. The ideal activity for all ages, it’s a great way to spend time together as a family – once you have the hang of it you’ll be racing each other along the beach!
A typical one day ski tour will see you learning the basics of cross country skiing in the morning and the skiing across some of West Cornwall’s
most stunning beaches.
Beginners can choose from a choice of shorter beaches. Praa Sands and Porthmeor are perfect beginner terrain, and the more advanced beach skier can opt for the 3 mile stretch of Hayle Towans.

As experts on the snow, we’re confident we can introduce you to our favourite sport in a beach environment. We have expert instructors who can take you from absolute beginner, to sand dune rider in just 1 day.
What’s Included?
Your guide is a fully qualified instructor and all beach ski equipment is provided, including knee and shoulder pads and helmets for those who want extra protection from falls. A picnic lunch is provided and will be enjoyed in secluded spots only accessible to beach skiers.
Free Taster Session
As part of the summer launch, 1 hour taster sessions will take place in Praa Sands on 31st April 2016.
